Restaurant review | Oh my Taiko, Chef Chilo did it again

Top of my food list? Asian. For me that’s the proverbial wake-me-up-in-the-middle-of-the-night food. Yesterday evening we had a tiny celebration, mr. B. turned 65 and is now officially a pensionado. What better place to celebrate than at Taiko Restaurant in the stunning Conservatorium Hotel in Amsterdam? First stop is Tunes Bar for a glass of bubbles. Or two.

Taiko Tasting Menu

After Tunes Bar is only a few steps to the beautiful designed restaurant. A kind of darkish interior, large windows and crisp white linen on the tabel. Industrial chic sums it up.
We opted for the 8 course tasting menu with Chef Executive, Schilo Van Coevorden’s personal favourites. A challenge for the senses with beauty, flavour, aroma and texture. Add that to the loving company of close friends and good wine. An evening to remember.
Please find photo’s of this food feast below, pics can say more than a thousand words when it comes to food. Oh my Taiko, indeed.
