Clean, pure, and beautiful Innersense Organic Beauty is an organic haircare brand founded in 2005 by married couple Greg and Joanne Starkman. Two seasoned beauty professionals with a passion for health, hair, beauty, and the planet. Greg and Joanne’s shared inner vision of life and the birth of their daughter eventually led to the foundation of Innersense Organic Beauty, which stands for clean, pure, organic, and chemical-free hair products that are also professional and qualitative at the same time.

The gift box
I received a beautiful gift box full of wonderful treatments for my dry, frizzy hair and I loved all of them. My hair got into super shape. I also tried the newest product, the Detox Hair Mask. It is the purifying Detox Hair mask, which smells of sage and vanilla, gently removes the accumulated residues of other hair products, without stripping the hair of its natural oils. In addition to the purifying effect, the product also gives shine and prevents frizz. All this is thanks to the formula consisting of charcoal, kaolin clay, and certified organic white vinegar. The mask is 100% vegan and suitable for all hair types and textures.

About the ingredients of the Detox Hair Mask Charcoal is a gentle detoxifying agent, helping to remove dirt, toxins, and impurities from the hair and scalp. Kaolin clay is a soft white clay named after the hill in China from which it was extracted for centuries. The dynamic clay draws toxins out of the hair and helps remove excess oil, dirt, and product build-up from the hair and scalp. Certified Organic White Vinegar has long been used as a hair clarifying agent, helping to increase shine, balance pH, and reduce frizz and hair porosity. How to use it: Distribute over towel-dried hair, from roots to ends. Leave on for 3-5 minutes and then rinse well.

Greg Starkman
Greg was immersed in the beauty world from an early age. His mother ran a successful cosmetics company. Greg started his career as a stylist, but after 12 years he thought it was time for a new challenge. He then went on to work as an executive in the “big beauty” industry for a number of top hair brands. At Innersense Organic beauty, Greg is the one who sets the strategy and he also knows everything about ingredients. In addition, Greg is one of the driving forces in the clean beauty movement. His spearheads are maximum transparency with a focus on sustainability, both in terms of origin and in the development process and the ‘never any list’.
Joanne Starkman
Joanne has over a decade of experience as a salon stylist. The birth of her daughter Morgan, who needed special attention, triggered Joanne to delve into a clean and healthy lifestyle. During her research came the realization about the adverse effects of chemicals in personal care products. After this eye-opener, it became Joanne’s mission to develop clean, safe, non-toxic professional products for her family, the colleagues in the salon, and all their customers. This was the beginning of Innersense Organic beauty; in other words, Joanne is the heart and soul of Innersense Organic beauty. Joanne is also a passionate advocate of self-care and the clean beauty movement.
